Accounting & Financial Controls– The team at Forewinds Consulting knows that all the financial performance, customer satisfaction, and top line growth in the world does not impact a property positively if it doesn’t operate with integrity and accuracy as it pertains to issues of accounting and financial controls. We look closely at all accounting software, general ledger, accounts payable, accounts receivable, financial statements, cash management standards, and payroll records. Daily, weekly, monthly, quarterly, and annual closing procedures will be evaluated carefully for consistency and clarity. All departmental inventories will also be examined to make sure that losses are minimized. Employee files will be audited to assure that each is complete and secure. Reporting standards will be evaluated and enhanced to be sure all principals are informed fully and accurately.
